Should I exchange my Surface 2 for another?

I bought my Surface 2 about 2 weeks ago from a Microsoft pop up store and everything was perfectly fine, I have not had any of the problems I see other people having until yesterday when 1 pixel died on the screen. Is there a way to bring it back to life, or should I exchange it at the Microsoft store for a new Surface 2?

There's a couple of fixes on websites online but to be honest if you can take it back I would... Especially as its only two weeks old!

The reason I'm afraid of taking is back is that I might get a unit that bleeds light, faulty kickstand, or a different build quality issue. Do you know if I would be able to take it back to a different Microsoft Store from which I bought it from?

The chances of getting a second faulty unit are pretty slim i woulda thought... And none of those faults are less annoying (to me) than a dead pixel lol. And you should be able to. Its Microsoft that provides you with the guarantee when you buy it. As long as you have your proof of purchase...
