    Dear Community,

for now, Microsoft doesn't allow you to install Windows 8 apps on the sd card out of the box.

On wrtapps.com, I found a way to avoid this restriction by manipulating the windows registry:
Installing Windows RT Store Apps on to the SD Card — Windows RT Review

    Sounds straight forward.

    So here is my question:
Has anybody of you experiences with manipulating the registry to enable the installing of apps on the sd card?
Did you have any kind of errors or issues concerning this tweak? Maybe a few days or weeks later?
Or works everything without any problems like before the Change?

    Thanks for all replies!

    With Kind regards.

    Oh, that's bad. No, I'm on Win 8.1 ...
Is there any solution for 8.1?

I thought I read somewhere that MS was allowing this with Update 1. Maybe that was Windows phone, though....
