Problem: only surfing works, other stuff not any more

Hello,

I have a Surface 2 RT which behaves very strange since a week.

The only thing that still works on the tablet is surfing the web. All other stuff does not work anymore: opening mail via the app, Skydrive, accessing the Store etc.

I did a complete reset of the device and still got the same behavior; I can connect to wifi and I can surf the Web.
When I try to activate Windows I get: Windows cannot be activated. Try again later.
When I try to access the Store I get error 0x80072f8f (network problems)
When I access the Mail app: same network problems.

Bottomline: I can only surf the Web, but nothing more. I find that very strange
I have these problems on two different wifi networks. So the problem is not the wifi.

Any clue?

Hrrrm, you could try and download a recovery image from Microsoft's website and try a complete reset;

Hello,

I downloaded the image and did a reset via the usb drive. When trying to sign in with the Live account, no go. So I created a local account. When trying to add a Live account after logon, the same result: error 0x800b0101. Again, I can surf the Web, but that is all I can do.

I don't know what to do anymore.
