What is the cost of a screen without warranty?

[need help] Identifying cost of screen without warranty

I know that Microsoft charges 450 for a flat fee to replace parts on the surface pro 3, but I would love to know the cost of the Surface 3. Can someone log into Microsoft support and ask the all important question.

The Microsoft Surface 3 starts at $499

Every Surface comes with a free one year manufacturer warranty for defects

I'm not sure what you mean by there being a $49 warranty. I've never seen or heard of such a thing, but Microsoft Complete (A device protection plan) is a one time payment of $100, which allows you to get a replacement Surface in case of drops, spills or any other form of human error

With Microsoft Complete there Is also a $50 payment each time you need a replacement

I understand the fine points of the Microsoft complete. I'm trying to figure out the cost of fixing a broken screen out of warranty. I know Microsoft charges 450 to repair a surface Pro that is without warranty. I'm curious to know how much they charge to fix a surface 3 (non Pro). I know you can find out the cost by asking surface help, but you can't even talk to them without plugging in your surface ID.
