Surface 3 Type Cover Touch Pad loose?

My type cover for surface 3 has just been shipped and I've noticed that the touch pad seems rather loose. It makes an annoying clicky noise when I touch (not press) it. Also, when tapping anywhere on the cover you hear this clicky noise because the touch pad is just not fixed properly, it seems.

Do any of your type covers do the same thing or should I return it and get a new one instead? It's really driving me nuts, especially regarding the price of this thing.

Mine does the same thing. The ones I have tried at stores are the same way. I assume this is normal. I don't think this has anything to do with the build or is it a flaw.
