Will the Surface Book hold its value in a year?

I'm considering whether to buy a Surface Book now or wait til the next gen to fix all the little problems I have with it. Just curious what people think about the value in a year, would you be able to sell it for close to what you paid for? The Surface Book seems pretty hot right now and is getting a lot of attention, so it may follow the Macbook in terms of holding its value for a while.

Depends on whether it can defend itself against the scrutiny of the tech world lol Maybe wait till january to get a better idea?

Most likely yes. MacBooks hold their value not because of the OSX, but because of the hardware quality. I don't see SB dropping by more than 30% in resale. It's a high quality laptop after all.
