Trackpad not scrolling at all

My trackpad was working okay yesterday. Apparently after updates last night, my trackpad won't scroll at all. It seems to not register 2 or 3 finger gestures. Is anyone else seeing this or could it be a hardware issue?

Oh, disconnecting and reconnecting the screen fixes this... of course...

I had a similar problem the other day. The trackpad also stopped showing up in the Settings/Devices tab. I rebooted, etc., and couldn't get it working. Then it reappeared in the Devices tab and started working fine. I'm not sure what I did to fix it, but there seems to be a glitch.

Had this happen for the first time today, as well. Before the update, however. Had no keyboard/trackpad at all until a detach/reattach. Then still had to reboot to get scrolling and the setting/device tab back.

My keyboard started not working after booting it up. The detach-reattach thing gets it working.
