So I have three monitor in my office and I am considering buying a surface book to replace my desktop. My intend to use one of the monitor as a duplicate of the surface monitor and the other two as extensions, thus three monitor with the surface monitor being duplicated to one of them. This so that I can be writing on one. So can it be done and will it work smoothly? I have a Dell dock that support three monitors I am using presently.

Thanks

I use three screens - the SB display plus two external monitors, all the time. I haven't tried adding a third. Interesting info on that reddit link, though. I wonder if more are possible through daisy-chaining of DP-capable monitors?
