Is there anyway to disable the power button when the surface book is closed?

Just picked up a new surface book, i have re wiped the OS (my OCD) with the surface recovery usb and am up to date with the drivers through windows updates and the driver package on line.

I have noticed that the power button is active when the lid is closed, this is going to be annoying in the bag!

anyone have a way around this?

Trying to work out the kinks before i start using this laptop religiously!

this is not from surface book but there is similar setting in surface book.

The solution offered above is for when the power is on, to keep the power button from shutting the computer off. Obviously, this isn't what you're looking for if you're talking about putting it in the bag.

The answer to your question is no. There is no way to disable the power button when the PC is off, and in your bag.
