I'm looking for a simple slip case for my 13" SB2 but everything (including the ones in the Windows Central article) are just generic 13" laptop cases.
Since the SB2 is 3:2 ratio it is quite different proportions to a normal 13" laptop.
I don't want a case where the SB2 is just loose inside, I'd like a snug fitting case. I just want something to protect it while it's in my backpack.
Don't suppose anyone knows of any? Or, even better, has practical experience of any?
"Snug and padded" is exactly right. I put it in hinge first and the fit is exact. No room for the pen in the main compartment but easily fits in the outer zip pocket.
No problem. It even has a perfect spot for the pen and surface arc mouse in the right side front pocket. I have the new surface arc mouse and it fits it perfectly.
Did you get the 14 - 15 inch or the 15.6? I'm curious whether the 14 - 15 internal depth (listed at 9.48 in) is too small for the SB2 15, which is just under 10 in.
I like this system because sometimes I don't want/need to carry around all the accessories, so I can simply just leave the Surface accessories pouch behind. When I want to take it, it will fit in the front pocket on the Outback Solo bag.
I'll try to remember to come back here and report with some photos.
