Pinch to zoom and Surface Pen not working

Hi,

I just bought a new Surface Book with Performance Base and after a few days of usage, I got problems with the Surface Pen and the touchscreen. The pen stopped writing (but the buttons still work) and I can't pinch the screen to zoom. I saw on other forums that they might be some problems with the "Intel Precise Touch Device" driver and indeed, when I deactivate and reactive it after a reboot, all work perfectly.
So I wanted to know if it's a common problem on Surface Book devices and is this happening because of the faulty driver or is there another cause...
It's so frustrating that after you bought a new device that is supposed to be the "very high end" from Microsoft, something so basic doesn't work :/

Hi! The same happens to me, since forever actually (the problem of pinch to zoom), and at least it gets solved if you restart the Surface Book. I have to do that every time I need it to work fine.

Oh, and for me the issue happens only on the Photos app, not in others like Edge.

Not a super-good solution, but that's something...
