I ordered a Surface book through Amazon thinking it was a great deal... I got the 512/16GB/Nvidia GPU... But just realised that it's the version without the sunken keyboard, which I believe makes it a first generation model...

Is it going to be able to keep up with me? My last computer was the second gen surface book & I work in Photoshop, Premier and AutoCad... the last surface I had dealt with them well, but that was a work PC, this one is my own.

It’s still a good spec, just not the latest. But other improvements are present over basic performance. Only you know what is best for you based on the pricing you got.
