Surface Book 2 Charger keeps disconnecting every 2 seconds

This problem happens to be for the past 3 days. It was fine. The charger port sits in the slot quite comfortably yet the charging icon in the tray keeps blinking [Indicates connection and disconnection continuously]. Yet the LED in the charger pin dont blink at all. So I guessed the charger works fine, if so what might be the issue? Help me out guys.

Did you recently update your Surface to the 1803 update? I find that update very buggy

Yes, I did. Now that my keyboard battery completely drained and not charging, its like a dead device. When connected to power, screen blinks and GPU is not found in the device manger or rarely seen. Do you have a solution?

Hi, I have the same issue with charging, the same blinking and disconnecting. Did anyone find a solution for this problem?
