Updating my thread. Now playing NBA 2K19 and have been posting a lot of my games highlights on YT.

WIll be posting same games here if you are interested in watching.

I have been recording them using the Xbox gaming overlay, and produced some pretty good videos.

I still have the i7 512GB 16GB RAM 2VRAM 13" Surface book, using an Xbox controller.

I play with full 12 minute quarters. I record clips and put them together.

Re: Playing NBA 2K18 on my SB2 as the '96 Bulls ( w/ HD recording)

Undoubtedly one of the strongest teams in the post-Jordan era, the Shaq and Kobe Lakers.

Bulls got off to a hot start, with great ball movement and defense. They led by as much as 16, and took a 10 point lead at half time. Pippen got it going early, had 16pts, 3 rebs, 4 assts at the break.

Second half was the home team's. THey started on strong, while the Bulls started to miss their shots. The Lakers went on a 13-4 run early and finally grabbed the lead with 5 mins to go in the quarter. Bulls continued to struggle, shooting just 8/22 from the field (36%) and the Lakers go into the 4th quarter up by 6.

4th quarter, as you may expect was Michael Jordan time. He rallied his team and scored 20 of his 36 points in the quarter and got the Bulls to within 2 pts with less than 2 minutes to go. It was not enough however as the Lakers outscored him 28-20 in the period to win by 8 pts in the end.

Oh boy another incredible game!

'96 Bulls had a fast start jumping to an early 13 pt lead. '93 went on a late 10-2 run, led by younger MJ to close the gap to 5 after the first quarter.

'93 MJ continued his hot streak at the start of the 2nd quarter, scoring the first 2 baskets to get his team to within 1, but the '96 Bulls bench came thru this time, led by Kukoc and surprisingly Salley, and grew the lead to 11 midway. '93 Pip led a late rally and kept his team in the game. The two teams stay neutral for the quarter and the '96 Bulls lead by 5 at the half.

'93 Jordan was already starting hot, and had 25 pts at the half. '96 Jordan not far behind with 16.

In the 3rd quarter, it was the '93 Bulls who came out fast, grabbing the lead in the first 3 minutes and went up by 4 midway thru the 3rd. Jordan and Pippen had 14 pts in the quarter and the '93 Bulls took control, go up by 5 going into the 4th.

In the 4th quarter, '93 Bulls was leading most of the way and looked on the way to winning, up by as much as 7. Everytime the '96 Bulls kept close, '93 kept finding ways keep them at bay. But the home team was not finished yet. Their defense tightened up. They had 4 blocks and 2 stls this quarter alone, including 2 consecutive blocks in a single possession followed by a post up move by Harper on the smaller Armstrong on the other end, to tie the game with 3 minutes to go.

The last 2 minutes were decided by the 2 best players on the court. Jordan and Jordan. Fittingly decided by one of them in the end. Go watch it to find out who wins.

STAT LINES:

Player of the Game: '93 Jordan - 41 pts, 5 rebs, 8 assts, 4 steals. He played the entire game.
'93 Pippen finished with 21 pts, 4 rebs, 8 assts, 4 stls and 3 blks

For the '96 Bulls - MJ - 30 pts, 4 rebs, 8 assts, 3 stls, 1 blk. Pippen was strong, with clutch shots of his own, finished with 24 pts, 6 rebs, 5 assts, 3 stls, 2 blks. Rodman led everyone with 14 rebs. Their supporting cast was strong, led by Kukoc with 14, Longley with 10-10, Salley with 8, Harper 6. '96 Bulls bench outscored '93 Bulls, 28 to 12.

A healthy '19 Warriors against the GOAT '96 Bulls and Michael Jordan.

Playing against these Warriors will immediately tell you why this team could have been the greatest team of all time. Everyone knows how potent the team is offensively, they can score very easily, from anywhere on the court. They take advantage of any opening, and even if they are not open, KD, Steph, and Klay can score against the best.

The length and athleticism of the Bulls backcourt give them a chance defensively, and the Bulls bench appears superior as evidenced in this game (Bulls bench outscored them 23-15 here), but once the Splash brothers get going, even the daunted defensive backcourt of the Bulls cannot do anything to stop them. And the defense of this Warriors team, is also understated. KD, Klay and Draymond play great D, they can cause turnovers and take advantage immediately.

The Bulls got off to a great start here, and had their Triangle offense working like a well-oiled machine. THey were up 13 by the end of the 1st, and they needed it. They needed that cushion against these Warriors. Even with the Bulls leading by as much as 19, the Warriors heated up late in the 2nd and went on a 18-8 run to cut the deficit to 8 at the half.

As always with these Warriors, the game turned in the 3rd. They went on a 14-6 run to tie the game, continued their offensive outburst and went up by as much as 10 in the period. They outscored the Bulls in the 3rd quarter 39-23, hitting 7/10 3-pointers, to go up by 8 going into the 4th.

The 4th quarter was special. As the Warriors grew the lead to 11, Jordan had a 3-pt play that started the furious Bulls rally in the period, to even take the lead late. It was great finish decided by a great defensive play.

Statlines:

Jordan: 48 pts 11 assts 2 stls 2 blks
Pippen 23 pts 6 rebs 6 assts 2 stls
Rodman 15 pts 19 rebs 1 stl 1 blk
Kukoc 13 pts 3/5 3pt

Curry: 35 pts 5 rebs 7 assts 6/11 3pt
Durant: 31 pts 4rebs 4assts 2/4 3pt
K.Thompson: 23 pts 4 rebs 6 assts 4 stls 4/8 3pts
D.Green: 17pts 6 rebs 9 assts 4 stls

One of the greatest teams of all time, the Lakers featured one of the most dominant big man and most prolific backcourts. THis is a great match up of teams with best transition games of all GOAT teams.

The first quarter was dominated by the Lakers. Wilt established himself as a defensive presence on the boards and in the driving lanes. The Lakers went up as much as much as 13 in the quarter. Jordan led a late run to cut the deficit to 5 approaching the 2nd quarter.

In the second quarter, it was more of the same. The Lakers mid range game shined and upped the lead to 12. Another late run by the Bulls (that started with a Flagrant 1 by Chamberlain on Jordan) cut the lead to 4 at the half. Jordan led all scorers with 22, as he took advantage of the mismatches at the guard spot. Jerry West was aggressive, mostly taking advantage when Kerr was guarding him, and had 14 first half pts. Wilt showed why he was "Chairman of the Boards" and had 9 rebs at the half.

The 3rd quarter saw the Bulls tightening up their D. They tightened up on Jerry West, with Harper hounding the smaller Hall-of-Famer. Bulls took the lead 3 minutes into the quarter, while Wilt kept the Lakers in the game. The Bulls have a 4 point lead going into the 4th.

The 4th started with the Bulls getting hot, increasing the lead to 10 midway. But Elgin Baylor led the Lakers back, scoring 6 pts in a run that had them take a 4 pt lead with 3 minutes to go. The Bulls, however, finished the game with an 11-2 run and closed them out, winning by 5.

Jordan was POG with 34 pts, 12/16 FT, 2 rebs, 12 assts, 5 stls. Great all around. Pippen had 19 with 6 rebs, Rodman grabbed 13 rebs. Harper also took advantage of the mismatch and finished with 17 pts, Kukoc added 13.

Wilt Chamberlain was a monster on the boards and defense. He had 23 pts, 15 rebs, blocked 8 shots with 7 steals. Jerry West, who had a big 1st half, was held to 4 in the second and finished with 18 pts, but dished out 10 assists.

It was a close back and forth to start the game. Both turned the ball over multiple times here, but the Lakers took advantage of this more, scoring 10 pts off turnovers alone. Kobe had 14 pts in the quarter and the Lakers go up by 7 after one.

In the 2nd quarter, the Bulls went on an early 10-0 run to grab the lead. Shaq came back from the bench and rallied his team, leading a tough Lakers defense and muscled his way inside. The Lakers regain the lead and go up by 3 at the half.

Jordan led everyone with 23 pts at the half. Shaq had 12 pts and 8 rebs.

The third quarter started out the same as the first as both teams stay close. Jordan continued his hot 1st half and led the Bulls back to regain the lead midway. The Lakers continued to stay tough however, and stayed consistent defensively to keep it close. Bulls up by only 2 going into the fourth.

THe 4th quarter was interesting. The Lakers, behind strong play from Kobe and Shaq on both ends, regained the lead with 5 minutes to go. The Bulls would not go away easily however and tied the game with a little over 1 minute to go. As expected, it was a Kobe-Jordan show in the end as both players hit clutch shots. With the Lakers up by 2, Kobe hit a dagger three from way beyond the arc to put the Lakers up by 5. Jordan answered on the other end with a 3-point play. From then, it was a FT game as the Bulls ran out of time, and Lakers hit their FT's rest of the way to walk away with the win.

Shaq got POG honors as he filled the stat sheet with 24 pts, 13 rebs, 4 assts, 6 stls, and 3 blocks. Kobe closed the game out, however, as he scored 16 4th quarter pts to finish with 36 pts, while handing out 8 assists.

Jordan had 39 pts, 4 rebs, 8 assts, 3 stls, 1 blk, but had 9 TO's in this game. Pippen was strong with 26-6-7 but had 6 TOs of his own. Turnovers spelled the demise of the Bulls who had 24 in the game (compared to 15 for the Lakers) leading to 23 Laker points off TOs.
