I wonder if there's any benefit to Microsoft designing a mobile version of their SQ1 chip. Something that focuses a bit more on battery life and efficiency. That way they could design something specifically for the Duo while not falling behind Snapdragon processors.

They could use the same chip in the Neo I bet. The Duo I doubt. It is optimized for WoA not Android. However they got their foot in the door on the SQ1 and that is enough because it leaves them now an open canvas to move forward with. I think the best thing to come out of the new HW this year was the SQ1, I can't wait to see how it progresses on that note.
