okay i didnt know everybody elses changed! I was stressing cause i havnt gotten any info from microsoft so thought maybe i was only getting like the tablet or only the keyboard.. who knows with the way everythings been going!

Not really. You keep thinking I'm mad or fumed, when I'm not. I'm simply expressing my opinion and my experience that I've gotten so far. Many others have gotten the same, if not worse experience then I have. If it's not here by tomorrow, hopefully all the blogs will be all over it.
Still nothing here in Canada, even with FedEx or UPS reference. Gawd, this is starting to be annoying for me :( Really hope it's here.
EDIT* Just got off the phone with Microsoft. Lady said she can't pull up any info or references, what the **** does that mean? On the live chat, the guy asked me if that's the e-mail I used to order it, as if it wasn't visible to him either.. this isn't starting to look good. Almost like I made the order, but it didn't go through...
We'll see what happens tomorrow. She gave me the electronics department number, so if it doesn't arrive by 5PM tomorrow, guess who I'm calling :)

so its officially the day of delivery here in Maryland. I have yet to be charged or receive any shipping info from Microsoft. FedEx says it is in Baltimore and will arrive at my doorstep at 10:30.
7:00am the Surface supposedly left China. At 11:38pm it was scanned in Memphis. Didn't expect it that early but I'm not complaining. Looking more likely that I'll be getting it Friday. I'll believe it when I see it. Trying not to get my hopes up too much. Just in case. :blush:

I'm in Oklahoma which is a decent drive but a quick flight.
We'll hope that Billings, MT also gets a direct flight. I know they come early in the morning, around 6:00am. We'll see.
I wonder how they'll compensate those who are missed for target delivery time. I'm personally hoping to get it on time, but if not, a year to Xbox Music wouldn't hurt...
Microsoft still has not sent me a shipping confirmation but I was able to find it using the trick listed on the site. At the moment mine says delivery on Monday but I am hoping that it gets to Southern Cali tomorrow.
I was going to hit the MS store in the AM but when I called today they did not seem to know what they would have in terms of units (surface or other manufacturers). They could not even tell me if I could buy Windows 8 non upgrade from them.
Still have nothing showing up in the store for my shipment. I have called twice and they have assured me that I will get it today but I am starting to doubt it. Still have no email indicating that it has been shipped.
Still in Memphis, same boat as the rest of you. Also I'm in Pennsylvania so I'm 1036 driving miles away... According to FedEx they got 4 and a half hours to get 1036miles and on my doorstep. This is gonna be one interesting morning

Got email alert that my Surface has been ship and my credit card is charged. Check shipping status and confirm destination scan schedule to deliver today at 10:30am
My surface currently says it is in Allentown PA and on time for delivery Monday the 29th.
When I called FedEx they said that meant it would be there by the 29th. Not actually on the 29th.
But considering it got to Allentown at 630 this morning and has not yet left there. I am hopeful but skeptical. My normal sort facility for my deliveries is 1.5 hours from Allentown.
So it would have to leave get to the normal place and get sorted and then put on a truck to get delivered. Seems a lot of work. But I don't plan on being mad til I am positive it won't show up today.
In columbus and mine is at the facility. Also, got my shipping notice last night finally after installing win8 and staying up all night...work is going to be a long day, keep thinking IT never sleeps IT never sleeps lol!!
