Well I got my notification this morning that it had shipped.. Arrived in my city but FedEx has it listed for Monday delivery. Still hold out some hope to see it today.

Delivered as well as of two minutes ago. That was some crazy shipping, FedEx.

Just got mine! The Fedex guy knew what it was and was asking me all sorts of questions about it! He said he had 20 more to deliver this morning on his route (just my area)!

UPS is teasing me. My Surface is out for delivery and my Touch Cover was showing delivery for the 29th. Our mail room people tell me I have a package at 9:30 PDT and I run up, super excited...except it was the Touch Cover (still cool!) not the Surface. Argh! So cruel...

I saw mine get "Delivered" status here at work around 8:49pm, I just went down to the mail room and asked them to give it to me. HAve been happily using it since then. All my co-workers really like it.

Hello U.K. and Canada... Wondering where your Microsoft Surface is? Still waiting by the door hoping it will arrive today? Sorry, but reality is that there was never a chance of it being delivered to U.K. or Canadian residents on the 26th.

I'm in Canada myself, and made many a phone call. No word has ever been sent to me regarding the shipment of my order and for us in Canada and the U.K., you'll never find mention of it with FED EX or UPS even with the reference number.

I've placed many calls to Microsoft this week and each time I spoke with someone who said delivery would be by the 26th. When I asked if they had specific info for Canada, they stated "NO", their info was only for the U.S.

For us Canadians and U.K. citizens, you'll recall that Microsoft sent out an email to all U.K. and Canada customers saying that their order will not ship until November 2nd. When the media caught wind of this, it made some headlines. The embarrassed Microsoft PR department quickly said it was an error, and everyone would receive the product on the 26th.

Then on the 26th, all of us in the U.K. and Canada received an email saying that just in case you don't get it on the 26th, here is $50.

Microsoft knew, and knows that no one in Canada or the U.K. will receive an order today. In addition, they are hoping that people receive their orders on the 30th (call Microsoft today and as about this, they will say "probably" the 30th). The reality is, that many of us who live outside a major city will not receive their product until November 2nd or much later.

So much for pre-ordering through Microsoft. What I hate the most is that Microsoft knew all along that they could not ship by the 26th, but yet stayed quiet about it. Bad customer business methodology.

Left home in the morning and the Fed ex status was "In local facility" with a delivery estimate of 29th. Walk into office and the package is at my desk.

USA. Mine still says "Order Submitted" as if I just ordered it recently. But I placed my order on October 17th........... No emails, no reference number at Fed Ex or UPS............. /sigh

The ups truck stopped in front of my house then delivered a package to the house across and then left! I was so excited then he just left and I was bummed.. I hope that another ups truck comes because my scheduled delivery is says 10/26.

Just got off the phone with FedEx. Maybe Monday......Still hasn't even been attempted for delivery. Been sitting at the sort facility since Thursday night, 7:20p.

I ended up canceling my online order and picking up a Surface at the local MS Holiday store.

Since having received a notification that my Surface has shipped on Thursday morning at 8:14AM, it has yet to be picked up by UPS. I am looking t Wednesday at the earliest and right now I will consider it lucky to have it for next weekend.
