Live in Southern California. Ordered when it a few minutes before it went live on the 16th. Carrier is UPS and the tracking number does not work yet.
For those that received shipment informatin, did you order without cover, or bundled with cover?
I considered this, as well. Mine was ordered with cover. It seems like those of you who are getting shipping notices already ordered the model without the cover?

means i won't get mine either, instead I'll hear the doorbell ring and then 2 seconds later when I answer it I'll see the UPS guy running back to his truck and find a missed package notice on my door.
I just rec'd 2 separate emails that my touchpad cover and typecover, both separate orders from my 64GB surface HAVE shipped and I rec'd tracking #'s for FedX! I have not rec'd anything on the 64GB Surface tablet itself. Get ready... they R comin.. ;-)
The hold put on my account disappeared, but my balance still shows the transaction amount deducted. I called my bank to verify everything is ok. It is, they stated after a while the hold disappears from my view in the online banking, but they can see it on their end.

If you are in the US, you might want to point out to your bank that is rather illegal. It falls under both past banking reforms and the more recent (and really lame) credit card/finance reform.
Just checked mine and it says the same, by the End of the Day on Friday. My touch cover and HDMI adaptor is still showing up as processing though. Also I have not been charged for anything yet. Would'nt that be nice! Everything will hopefully be updated by tomorrow.
