No, I'm worried that I might die of old age first though. All the cool stuff people are discovering, I want in!! I'm a developer too and I want to be producing stuff ASAP! I really want to be the first to port Transmission (a bit torrent client) for downloading stuff, into the Microsoft Store.

It seems to be completely unrelated from sources here and other sites I've spoken to.

UPS are being arses as well, they won't tell you if you have a delivery coming to your address today, which is completely stupid because it would allow people to know if they should go home or stay at work. They won't even tell you if you have a van in your area and what time they'll be nearby, which other companies can do.

I've just had my 64GB unit delivered to me at work (in Birmingham).

Though the shine has been taken off it by the unit no booting into Windows! Tries to automatically repair the unit, but fails.

Got to the Startup Settings page, but it doesn't seem to register any of the key presses, so I can't get it to Launch recovery environment.

Cheers, that enabled me to enter keypresses. It doesn't boot up into the recovery environment though, just reboots.

Trying a manual Automatic Repair now. It's checked the disk. Still fails. And the log file it says that it's created doesn't exist.

Going through the Surface service web site, and it wants me to drop the unit off at UPS. Well, that's not happening, as it's miles away!

Well mine has just been cancelled, they requested the money twice so my bank declined the transaction. Now I have to re-order and wait 3 weeks for delivery :mad:
