Pairing an Apple Magic Mouse with Surface

Hi guys

has anyone had any luck with pairing their Bluetooth Apple Magic Mouse - the multi touch version, I'm not talking about the one with the little ball - with their Surface?

I can pair it but none of the multi-touch features - scrolling etc. - work.

I'm guessing it's an Apple thing. I can't see any settings on my Surface for enabling multi touch scrolling etc. although as we can two-finger scroll on the touch-cover trackpad I was hoping!

those are all software enabled features. gestures are not built into the hardware.
