My Surface won't connect to my Extender

I picked up a wifi extender today. Every device, laptop, smartphone and tablet connects to it. My Surface will not. Well it connects but it shows "limited". Any ideas?

I ran into the same issue and did not find a solution so just didn't use the Surface in the Ext area. All other devices of every persuasion connect and get service from the extender except for the Surface.

interesting huh? I hope Microsoft is receptive to some email.

I have run into the same exact problem. Says invalid ip configuration. I have been unlucky finding anything out on this. My Lumia 920 connects fine and I need my surface to in order to get internet in my bedroom. I hope we get an answer soon.
