Use MS Account funds to buy apps?

Anyone know of a way to do this? Its very frustrating. I have $10 in my MS account with what appears to be no way to use on my Surface but its listed as a payment option on my phone.

I agree it is frustrating. I wanted to buy a game for Win8. No can do. Then I transferred $5 to the Win phone store to use there. I have been buying Raspberry syrup at Star Bucks with my Bing money but my Bing money goes up faster than I use the syrup. I don't know what I will waste the Bing money on next.

Okay, good to know it's not just me. It's rather frustrating. I have $10 I essentially can't use, haha. Oh well, I'll wait until Spartan Assault comes out on my phone and get that I suppose.
