As the title says, what can you do with a SD card in a Surface 2?

Can you install apps on it? Can you force SkyDrive to synchronize to the card instead of the built-in memory? Is it difficult to set up?

You can't install apps on it, but you can get skyrdive on it. Simply right-click/long-press the SkyDrive folder in explorer, properties and then location

You can also store your favorite music and HD movies on the micro SD card, download and save files straight to the SD card, etc etc... I basically treat my 64GB micro SD card just like another hard drive in the computer.

You can keep your bitlocker key on it you can get back into your surface after reading the key with your cell phone ;). I use it for storage of all my work documents, PDF's, PP, the 20gb of stuff I need on a daily basis.
