Anyone using Type Cover 2 with the Surface 3?

Anyone using Type Cover 2 with the Surface 3

Thinking about trading in my Surface 2 to get a Surface 3, but don't know if I can afford new keyboard/pen to begin with. Is anyone using a type cover 2 with their Surface 3 right now? if so, how is performance? How far does it stick out on the side, and how much of the top of the screen is exposed?

I'm using my first generation touchcover with Surface 3. It works amazingly well. Really hope they will release a touchcover 3.

Yes, I am. Typing on it works just fine, although I have to admit it does set of my OCD a little bit that the type cover is the shape of the old Surfaces and doesn't match the new screen size.

I used the type cover 2 up until today. It drove me crazy with the camera showing, and it didn't put the Surface to sleep when I closed it.
