Blurred text on desktop apps and windows

This is probably an issue with cleartype or the display scaling but has anyone found a way to get rid of the blurred text on desktop apps?

It's mostly present on installation windows, and things like Spotify. I've tried calibrating a few display settings but can't seem to fix...

Is it w32 programs? I know there is an issue with scaling on high DPI screens which can cause this with w32 programs, it's one of the things W10 fixes.

Windows itself is DPI-aware. If it finds applications that aren't DPI-aware, it simply scales up those applications, hence the blurry text.

The solution is for the developers to make their applications DPI-aware.

A possible workaround is to disable DPI scaling with "Disable Display Scaling On High DPI Settings" although you may run into other issues.
