Surface laptop need non-alcantara version

Miceosoft make surface keyboard much colour and only one not have alcantara, there is black version. And why not available in surface laptop? Much people still love black colour and mee to.

@lanakaryatna I think its because the color choices make Microsoft stand out better than a black. From a distance, for example, a black Lumia and a black tecno or infinix phone would look the same. Similarly I think they want laptops to stand out and be known as Surface devices, not be assumed as HP's or Dell's.

You can buy from some OEM. Is just a laptop. Have many types on the market.

lanakaryatna, not going to happen. if it does, the look of the keyboard area will be very different to accommodate speaker grills and probably a bigger body too.

Well, they would have to re-design the whole laptop. A) the speakers are actually at the bottom abd the sound travels through the fabric which would not work nearly as well with other materials. B) The edges would have to be rubberised as it wasnt needed with the soft fabric.
