Add mobile phone and add Microsoft account buttons do nothing

Hello,

New Sirface Laptop owner here running Windows 10 Pro. Strange issue is happening with two settings buttons. When I go to the settings menu to connect a phone to my account, the “add phone” button literally does nothing. I click it and nothing happens. Same with “sign in with a Microsoft account” option. Click the link/button and nothing happens.

Anyone encountered the same issue?

I noticed my phone can be added but the app Icons underneath are grayed out. My guess is that these are for windows 10 mobile only.. I can't find info anywhere on this.
