Strange behavior when closing cover

When I close my touch cover to put my surface into sleep mode, sometimes it won't turn back on when the power button is pressed. The windows button still gives haptic feedback, so it's technically on. I have to then hold the power button till it starts up again. Anyone else with this issue?

Do you have all the latest Windows Updates?

Yeah. I just double checked and I'm up to date.

I have had same issues since day one. Also when I push the button to put it to sleep, sometimes it sleeps, sometimes it shuts. down. Yes, button is set for it to sleep, lid close...same. Everything up to date....

Several people have this random issue, it has to be a bug of some sort....
