Extended warranty

So now that I have a Surface Pro 2, i was thinking abiut getting the Extended warranty from MS. Still got a couple of questions thou:

1. I can get that up to 45 days after I bought it right?
2. Warranty is international warranty? since I will be returning to Germany in ~5month...
3. Do I have to go to the US MS site to get the Extended warranty? or will my S/N also work with the german warranty / MS store site?
