Surface pro 3 keyboard backlight gone when updated to wind 10

The keyboard back lighting was working just fine when I updated to windows 3 it is gone and I don't know how to get it back?? Please help.

Have you tried hitting the "brighter" key on your keyboard? It's the F2 key.

That's display brightness, not keyboard brightness. - Update: Yes the F1 and F2 keys adjust keyboard brightness. Neat!

That's strange though. My blue type cover lights didn't work on Win8.1, but started working when I upgraded to 10. My new cyan type cover works just fine too. If you can, try to use it on a different SP3 and see what happens.

F1 and F2 are not display brightness.

Fn and Delete increases display brightness.

This has been the only thing that annoyed me a lot about the SP3.

Commonly used screen brightness icons and keys used for backlight and the key feature of screen brightness hidden away.

It would have been better to put keyboard backlight adjustment on the delete key as a surprise and delight rather than screen brightness as a hidden and frustrate.
