9-29-15 Firmware update and battery life

Thar firmware update did an incredible job fixing my standby battery life (still not GREAT, but MUCH better). For the last 2 days my SP3 hasn't come out of my bag at work, when I finally did pull it out at home I've had around 85% left both times. This is incredible because since the W10 upgrade the same activity would put me in the low 40%, I don't know what they did, but they are on the right track.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit: I forgot to mention, MS has the image for the SP3 available for download now, I am going to reset my SP to see if that helps out the battery life also. Will let yall know what I discover.

I screwed up with the recovery image. The image says ...BMR_10_5_268....., the "!0" had me thinking that it was a w10 image for the SP3, that's a wrong assumption, it's 8.1.

I don't know what's wrong with my sp3 since i installed windows 10 the battery life is around 3 hours. Should I replace it??

It feels a bit cooler. But I don't know why the battery life seems to be worse. Before, if I managed to stay off Edge, I would normally get a battery life close to 8.1. But now it's about 7 hours maximum.
