Got the new Surface Pro 4 type cover for my Pro 3

So I just got the new surface pro 4 type cover for my pro 3, and while I am absolutely loving the keyboard I am not liking the trackpad as it seems to be sticking to my fingers when scrolling. Is this normal? Is there just some top layer that will have to rub off in time?

No. That's not normal. Could possibly had something on your fingers and not realize it?

my trackpad keeps 'freezing' .. when I use scrivener and select a block of text and drag to select it stops moving . also, even moving the mouse around it will randomly stop moving the pointer until i lift my finger and start over

anyone else seeing this?

I haven't had any issues except for when I dock my pro 3 with the type cover 4 in my pro 3 docking station, it doesn't fit unless you put the keyboard flat on the table
