m7 vs i5, which faster?

I'm still considering if I shall buy the HP Spectre x2 or the SP4.

If I'm going for the HP, I'll certainly buy the m7 model, but for SP4, maybe the i5.

I just want to make sure my understanding is correct, because I dont see a lot of benchmark or reviews comparing these two CPUs.

Is it the m7 is still a bit slower than the i5? or it's similar? or the m7 is faster???

M3 is on benchmarks roughly 85% of the speed of the i5..... however its graphics can be better. Most important is its fanless!

We don't care about m7 here this is a surface 4 pro forum
