I have had my base Core M model for a couple of week now. I find it to be very laggy overall though. Programs take a long time to open. Scrolling web pages is janky and drops frames in all 3 browsers I have tried so far (Edge, Chrome, Firefox). I checked the memory usage on a cold boot-up and it shows 60% utilization even before I open a single program. I have only installed the two 3rd party browsers and MS Office on the SP4 so far. Is the 4GB RAM my issue here? Or is it the under-powered processor?
Is this experience normal? I expected the entry level SP44 to perform as well as my 12" MacBook had performed which had a similar Core M processor (although a generation old), but came with 8GB RAM.
