Hi!

I have an sp4 and it's ready good! I have three monitors that are connected to my desktop computer. Is there a way to use three monitors on the surface pro 4? I will not use the surface monitor just the three external monitors. If i can use these monitors what refresh rate can the monitors run. They go up to 144 at resolution 1080p.

With the Surface Dock, you can plug in 2 of them. I believe you can plug in the remaining monitor into the Display Port on the surface and use it also.

My surface pro 3 supports 2 monitors daisy chained to one display port, so the SP4 should at least do that... plus the monitor ports on the surface doc it seems. I have the surface pro 3 dock and it's only display port out, I daisy change a 24" and a 27" in portrait.

Ok, so the surface dock rely on the computers gpu.... Maybe there is a way with some type of external gpu?

Actually, if you try to use both monitors through the surface dock, you'll be limited to 30 hz per. To get the full 60 only one can go through the dock with the other going through the unit with an adapter.
