Hey guys,

I've been wanting to buy a huge capacity MicroSD for a while now, because my SP4 only has 256GB of storage, which is constantly full.

Sandisk just recently released this:

400GB, 100MB read speed! Just what I need! :grincry:

Q: Has anyone tried this card in a Surface Pro 4 before, or anywhere else? Are you satisfied with this card? It should work just fine, being UHS-I though...

Just wanted to get some input before purchase, that's all

It's crazy how the price is coming down on the "small" cards now. The 200GB is the same price that I paid for 128 a year ago.

I didn't know the 400 was available yet. I thought MS advertised SD up to 2 TB is supported, so I don't see why these 400GB cards wouldn't work.

Price drops are normal, ever since 8MB SD cards and USB sticks But it is always a good idea to buy the second largest option when a bigger one comes out, and prices go down

I'm not worried about SP4 not supporting that card, just the card reliability and speed concern me...

UPDATE:

This card is awesome! Real copy test speeds:
Write: 45mb/s
Read: 85mb/s

Not bad for a 400GB MicroSD card
