    I tried to order my SP2 today, the 256, and of course it was out of stock, but they wouldn't take a back order. is there any sort of sense to that? It seems now I have to check in daily to see if they have come in and I don't want to!!!

    I agree. It is a huge problem. I am in the same boat. I'm waiting till I MS gets more of these pro 2's. I wish I could get it somewhere else but no one else offers the 10% student discount.

    I am still waiting for having the discount in the first place. It's only on the Surface 1 and Pro 1.. at least in Canada.
