How to return SP2

My SP2 seems to have a cosmetic issue. The top by the camera is coming a part at the seam. Do I call Microsoft directly or go to bet buy where I purchased it. Best Buy has a 30 day return policy, buy MS warranty is for a year.

I'd contact MS support directly.
but you aren't going to lose anything by trying Best Buy I guess.

try myservice.surface.com. You can register your tablet and covers; and initiate service (including a return). They even offer advance returns (you provide a credit card, they will ship you a replacement, you ship back your original. The credit card just insures you ship your return. It won't get charged).
