how does miracast work with sp3? does it support it?

first and foremost, I am not too familiar with this new technology called miracast, but I would assume its a wireless receiver that you plug in to your TV, so you can show your sp3 screen wirelessly?
Does this work like a Bluetooth receiver but for videos and images instead of just only sound?

Yes. Miracast compresses video using MP4 and sends over Wi-Fi to a Miracast receiver you must buy and connect to a TV HMDI port.

All you need is to purchase the Miracast Adapter, I use the Actiontec ScreenBeam Pro and the Netgear PTV3000...
