Where to stick the pen...

I started using the stick on pad to hold the pen, but it's as useful as a chocolate teapot. It looks ugly, the pen is hard to put in, and after reading on here it will soon fall off!!

It's now clipped on the type cover (see photos) but I'd just like to check if anyone else has done this. I'm worried it might mark the screen, although the pocket clip seems to be covered with rubberized plastic so it should be OK?

I use the pen holder than attaches to the keyboard. It works great for me.

Pen in either direction, up or down, no stretching on the clip.

I just put it in my sleeve pocket or my pocket. I think the loop looks awful and like an afterthought. I have seen others use the same location you show in the picture. But it concerned me too much with scratching the screen. So it ended up in my pocket.
