Ouch, ouch and ouch

I had my SP3/touch cover in a briefcase...stupid me was trying to carry too much and dropped it.

Didn't worry too much as I thought it would be OK as the briefcase would have protected it.

Went to use it and found a cracked screen.....ouch!
Found out it's ?216 to exchange it....ouch!
When I was paying I found out that it didn't include VAT....ouch!

Hopefully now I've departed with ?260 I'll get in back in a week or so. It makes me realise how much I use it rather than a laptop or normal tablet.....

Sorry to hear about your troubles.. From everything I've read about the SP3, I can see that it's no slouch, so I can imagine what those two weeks will be like

Me too! Yikes...

Anything that can be potentially dropped, especially by my 7 year old son, gets extra coverage.. lol...

I think its about the same price as my repair, but I can't remember seeing any reference to it when I bought the SP3.

Probably wouldn't have got it though. I might claim on the house insurance, depends what the excess is.
