Build10130 - handwriting recognition support?

Hey all,

I know that the Windows 10 Technical Preview is still in the works, but I could have sworn that in the earlier builds I was able to use handwriting input on my Surface Pro 3. ??? I know it will come back eventually, but was wondering if handwriting support dropped in the last two builds? Has anyone been able to use handwriting support on the current builds? It does seem as if the last couple of builds have focused a lot more on tablet mode, so hopefully I'll get it back in the next build or two.

It is still there. To get the "handwriting keyboard", when you click in a text entry box, look at the bottom right side of the keyboard. You will see a language selection button that looks like "ENG" and a tiny keyboard. Tap that and it will pull up a pop-up menu to let you switch keyboards. The handwriting one looks like rectangle with a pen on top of it. I used it to write this.

Thanks for that. Mine appears to be greyed out and unclickable. Do you have any idea why that could be?

I downloaded the U.S. language pack, which appears to have fixed my problem. Thanks again.
