Windows 10, screen won't shut off

Updated my sp2 to win10, has all updates. If plugged in and left alone, it will eventually lock, which is good. But after a few minutes when i expect it to turn the screen off, instead the lock screen scrolls up as if i swiped it and shows the logon screen, but the password box is immediately replaced by the wait circle and after a few seconds it relocks. Any ideas on whats going on?

HI. Sorry to hear abou the problem you are running into....Unfortunately, I am running into the same issue....after moving to Window 10 the screen simply does not shut off!!! And the screen is REALLY hot. I worked on it all weekend...finally gave up and went back to Windows 8.1. So sad though...I was really wanting to try Windows 10.
