Has anyone who has purchased the core M3 SP4 noted the battery life? One would assume that it lasts longer than the i5 and i7 models but I haven't seen any mention of it in reviews.
I would like to see this answered as well, but I doubt the m3 version has much more battery life than the i5. Modern CPU's perform so much throttling when idle that there may not be much difference unless you're performing CPU-intensive tasks.
Here is a link to a review that suggests 6.75 hours, vs 6.5 for the i5. For the M3, it suggests it spends a lot of time in boost mode. I'm wondering if I can use Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility to tweak the processor to use less power, or to turn off turbo boost all together (for i5 model).
