I just got a brand new Surface Pro 4 and in the process of setting it up, can I get some help?

i just got a brand new surface pro 4 and in the process of setting it up, i got

after I enter my pin to sign in, it says, "critical error. start menu and cortana aren't working. we'll try to fix it in the next time you sign in." it asks me to sign out. this happens repeatedly

I wouldn't hesitate and bring it back to where it came from.
There is a thing called warranty.
