Surface pro 3 with latest updates windows 10 does not hold time setting after sleep

I am tired of updating the time everyday when I turn on my SP3 after it goes into sleep mode while not connected to the charger. I have to go to date and time settings and turn off auto and back an auto time to update it each time. I have tried various "fixes" from google searches and none have fixed the problem What say you Forum folks?
