What is everyone's success rate that has tried doing this? I'm asking because I may have to dual boot windows and ubuntu to run linux applications. I have the i7, 256gb, 16gb configuration. I do have a 200gb sd card installed as well. My plan is to run windows on the main HD while ubuntu is on the flash drive. And those that have done this method, did you use Windows Boot Manager or Ubuntu's Boot Manager to handle the dual boot?

Please advise, because "one huge" thing is that the Cisco VPN registry fix for IPSec protocols might break in the latest update (haven't fully tested, but noticed one time in beta that it didn't work). And if the community didn't know, IPSec doesn't work with Windows 10 unless you apply the registry fix. This is where Ubuntu would come in as well.

Thanks and look forward to the responses.

I'd be interested in knowing this too, I was too chicken to try so what I did is install X2go on my machine and on a Ubuntu machine and connect full screen remotely. But now I am waiting to see what Microsoft does with the implementation of bash in window. Maybe it works well enough to make dual boot obsolete?

I suppose we would find out this tuesday for sure....

Just really hoping for some genuine fix to IPSec VPN. It has been missing in the past 2 versions of Windows.
