Logitech K810

Great. Thanks.

I think I will wait to see what the "Surface Accessories" will look like when Microsoft announces later on in October... As well as how soon they will be available.

But i've definitely added the k810 to my wish list. Thanks.

I assume this is for HTPC use rather than desktop use because if it wasn't for Bluetooth, you could always get a USB gaming keyboard which typically has backlighting, and as an added benefit, many of them are mechanical which make them great for typing too!

Logitech K830 is good too. Has built in touchpad. built in rechargeable batteries. backlit also.

Works via Bluetooth or the included wireless dongle.

Actually just going to use it on my surface majority of times. Maybe a few moments for HTPC . I've never used a mechanical keyboard. Any suggestions?

I'm no heavy gamer. only dota2 :)

I am using Razer Black Widow Chroma. Nice and heavy. RGB backlit. You can customize the colors and color animation. Check it out on YouTube. There are lots of customization for macros and lighting.

I just use a rainbow rippling out from any key pressed. Kinda neat. There are heartbeat, and snake themes also.

Think i'm leaning towards the k830 but i'm concerned about the touch pad as I won't have much use for it...

So maybe the k810 would be better...

Now i'm not sure...

K810 - The size bothers me. I'll be connecting my surface pro 4 to an external monitor so I won't be using my sp4 keyboard most of the times. I just feel like the k810 is too small for this setup

Black Widow Chroma - Lovely but out of my price range for a keyboard.

k830 - Have no use for the touchpad in the above mentioned scenario

I think I can skip the Bluetooth part and just get a regular usb, backlit keyboard... Any suggestions?Who knew choosing a keyboard would be this hard...
