Hi all,

I just got a Surface Pro 4, and I'm going to be using it for video tutorials for my students - screen-capturing lessons and demonstrations with narration.

I'm looking for a fairly simple drawing app, but one that has nice, realistic pen strokes and smoothing. I've used GoodNotes on the iPad and would love a program with a similar pen stroke.

I don't need fancy, advanced features, since I'm not an artist and don't want a steep learning curve. Since I will be screen-capturing a 1080 window, I'd also like a minimal number of toolbars and such to clutter up the screen.

Any suggestions? Willing to purchase if needed. Thanks in advance!

I don't know if Skitch is still available in the store. I was lucky enough to "purchase" it before they discontinued the Windows version. So I can download it any time. But it was very good for diagramming on top of pictures and screenshots.

And the aforementioned OneNote and Drawboard PDF. And of course, you can write on Edge. There's also Squid (in the Store).

And after the Creators Update, you can write on a whole of other things.
