Does the Surface Pro 2 work with a Pro 4 Charger?

Has anyone used a newer charger from the Pro3 or 4 (or the new 2017 Pro) with the Surface Pro 2?

The magnetic system is always really awkward to connect properly and can sometimes several goes to make it charge, so I'd love to know if the newer designs are any better, or even compatible.

It's not possible. The Pro 1/2 uses a different type of connector - that pill shaped slab. The Pro 3/4 connector is more of a blade. Not physically possible.
